The home

We live in a countryside home with a garden, surrounded by open fields and woodland.

Why we love looking after dogs

We're dog people. Our own two dogs are part of the family, and we know what it feels like to leave a dog behind when you travel. Offering a home-from-home is our way of making that easier — for the dog and for the owner.

Why we love looking after dogs

Our approach

We keep your dog's routine as regular as possible: same feeding times, same habits. Calm, familiar and unhurried, with plenty of exercise and company throughout the day.

Our approach

Why only one guest dog

Taking just one guest dog at a time is a deliberate choice. It keeps the house calm, it means your dog is never competing for attention, and it lets us give a genuinely personal level of care.

Why only one guest dog

The countryside setting

Pays de Gex is beautiful walking country: quiet lanes, fields, forest paths and long horizons. Your dog will see plenty of it.

The welcoming committee

Two resident dogs. New friends.

We have two dogs of our own who live here as part of the household. They're happy to share their home, their garden and their walks — and they're good company for a visiting dog.

Oscar, the 8-year-old Beauceron mix who lives at the house

Oscar

8-year-old mixed Beauceron. The best guard dog ever. Likes calm and friendly dogs and has great respect for little dogs. Friendly and charming ones he gets to know you.

Masha, the friendly 7-year-old mixed-breed dog from Guadeloupe

Masha

7-year-old mixed breed from Guadaloupe. Extremely friendly with dogs and people alike. Loves to run, play and explore!
